This award recognise activities promoting new or creative ways to improve the health and wellbeing of our community; or improve business outcomes.

Innovation could include activities that have led to improved healthcare journeys, improved healthcare outcomes, improved partnerships, improved user experience, reductions in waiting times, improved business outcomes.

With the delivery of high quality, person-centred and connected health care, fresh approaches to business productivity and services can be important to achieve improved health outcomes. Innovation requires being open to and testing new ideas.

Criteria:

  • Describe the activity and its innovative and creative approaches to improving health, social and/or business outcomes.

  • How has the innovation led to more efficient use of resources and improved value for money?

  • How has the whole team engaged in making changes to improve systems?

  • What have been the specific outcomes of this innovation?
