LHAC resources
Local Health Advisory Committees, or LHACs, are volunteer community groups across the Murrumbidgee that act as a vital link between local people and health services.
Working with Murrumbidgee Local Health District and Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network, LHACs help identify local health needs, provide feedback on services, advocate for better access and outcomes, support planning and evaluation, and promote health literacy and wellbeing in their communities.
In short, they give local residents a genuine voice in shaping health services so they better reflect the needs of each town and region.
