Culturally responsive communication in the workplace - online session

Delivered by Charles Sturt University: Three Rivers Department of Rural Health.

This free webinar will engage clinicians in learning about developing cultural awareness and sensitivity, including what culture means to individuals and how to encourage respect for different cultures. This training will help you understand the distinctions between cultural awareness, cultural sensitivity, and cultural safety. It will also help you identify the features of culturally safe clinical environments.

What’s in it for me?

  • It’s free.

  • It can count towards your CPD requirements.

  • You will learn how you can contribute to a culturally safe placement opportunity and workplace.

  • You will develop the confidence to have conversations about culture within the context of your experience.

  • You will reflect in a group of other health professionals and share experiences and strategies used in different organisations.
