Educational webinar series

To further upskill GPs, the team of psychiatrists from the GP Psychiatry Support Line have produced a series of webinars on psychiatric conditions commonly presented during general practice consults. These are accredited for professional development points by the RACGP CPD points (Category 2), as well as the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, with participation by watching the video and completing a short quiz. These activities are designed for GPs, provided for free, and have already proved popular.

The first series of webinars covers Adult ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Gender Dysphoria.
The second series of webinars covers Depression and Mental Health in Older People.
The third series covers anxiety disorders, techniques for calming anxiety and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

To access the webinars, go to https://www.gpsupport.org.au/webinars and register for free.
